History

1995- Hudson launched its activities through its subsidiary Hudson Finance. Hudson was a strategic advisory firm assisting companies in developing strategies based on shareholder value.
1997- Taking advantage of the creation of the BRVM, Hudson created SGI Hudson & Cie. SGI Hudson & Cie is a Broker/Dealer, member of the BRVM. Through SGI Hudson & Cie, Hudson was able to extend its activities to the stock market.
1997- Believing in the integration of its different roles, Hudson merged its activities of Investment Banking and Capital Markets under the same entity. SGI Hudson & Cie absorbed Hudson finance. This merger created synergies for Hudson & Cie bringing us closer to our main objective: become an integrated securities firm to better serve our clients and assist them throughout the different steps of their development.
2008- SGI Hudson & Cie increased its share capital from XOF 290 million to XOF 500 million. In that process, members of the management team became shareholders, and own 20% of SGI Hudson & Cie share capital.
